Every medication, therapy, specialist visit, piece of durable medical equipment, home modification, and hour of in-home or facility care, projected over a lifetime and tied to what that care actually costs.
For attorneys, it supports future medical damages. For estate planners, it informs special needs trusts and long-term care planning. For trustees, conservators, and professional fiduciaries, it provides a clinical roadmap for managing funds responsibly and documenting the decisions you make.
As a practicing Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 15 years of nursing experience across a stroke unit, ICU, and emergency room, I don't guess at future medical needs. I assess, order, and manage that care in clinical practice every day.
